Military Testing

Military Testing is available for exams such as Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS), Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB), Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), Electronic Data Processing Test (EDPT), Test of Basic Aviation Skills (TBAS), and Career Development Course Testing (CDC)

CCAF

The Community College of the Air Force is an institution of higher learning dedicated to the enlisted Airmen and Guardians of the Department of the Air Force. CCAF’s mission is to provide Enlisted Professionals pathways to degrees and credentials through military education, training, and experience.

Civilian Training

Civilian training is managed by an Employee Development Specialist (EDS) who is responsible for Air Force appropriated civilian training programs and monitoring training to ensure it meets all governing regulations.

Base and Formal Training

Base training and Formal training manage the mandatory on-the-job training, formal military training, in-residence PME and ancillary training programs including identify and mandatory tracking of base-wide requirements.

Education Advising

Education Service Specialists are available to guide active duty on a customized education path to meet your professional and personal goals. Call, email, or stop by the Education Center to get started.

Education Briefings

Initial/Refresher Tuition Assistance Briefings are held every Wednesday at 1000 with a mid-shift brief held at 0700 on the last Monday of every month. SkillBridge Briefings are held at 0800 on the first Tuesday of every month. All briefings are at the Rushmore Center, Room 2402 (right next to the TMO office).

Skillbridge

Skillbridge opportunities are apprenticeships, on-the-job (OJT) training, employment skills training, and internships that offer skills training opportunities to Airmen (officers and enlisted) preparing to transition from military to civilian employment. SkillBridge Briefings are held at 0800 on the first Tuesday of every month.

Accessing Higher Education

The Accessing Higher Education two-day track is designed to personally guide military members preparing for transition to civilian life through different decision-making processes involved in pursing higher education. Attendance is scheduled via the Military & Family Readiness Center.
